Family Update
Jolly Family update time!!!!!! Saying Life is busy with a 2 year old and a 10 month old would be a major understatement. As with any job there are good days and bad days. With that being said I wouldn't change being at home with them. The pay stinks but my children are healthy and happy most days :) I am still working PRN when either my husband or mother in law can watch our kids. Ryan and I were joking the other day about the saying "it takes a village" I never fully understood that until I tried working after having Wyatt. No doubt, we would be lost without the help of our family.
****Wyatt is a very strong minded, energetic, incredibly intelligent, and full of fun 2 year old!!!! He has changed so much since his sister came into this world. He went from being a baby to a little boy over night. He is constantly surprising us with new things he has learned! He hasn't said his alphabet yet but knows all of his letter sounds and will make the sound when looking at the letter. His favorite numbers are 5 and 9. Current struggles are getting him to eat decent meals and brushing his teeth. He loves doing everything by himself and will shut down completely when we try to help. He throws away all of his garbage and puts dirty dishes in the sink. He loves to help mommy with laundry and he tries to sweep. Anything Dad does is cool these days!! Most of what Wyatt mimics is cute. For example working on his toys (hammering). Others are not so cute (Burping or Farting).
****KayAnna is also very strong minded, determined, knows what she wants and will not settle for less little 10 month old! She demands full attention and loves to do whatever her brother is doing. She Loves food and wants whatever you are eating. She is so close to walking it's scarey. She can stand up without holding on to anything. She has found Gracie's dog food and loves to dump the bowl every chance she gets. These days she will not keep bows on her bald head and fights me every time I try. She has been struggling with separation anxiety for the last month or so. In Fact we have started keeping her with us during church service to prevent getting called out of church due to her crying in the nursery. Everyone says this is just a phase and will pass soon.......I really hope they are right :)
