Halloween Fun!
This year I was feeling pretty crafty so I made Wyatt's costume. Unlike last year, his daddy actually approved of my costume choice! Wyatt had a lot of fun at the fall festival held at the Willis Fire station. He was too small for most of the activities but he was able to run around and play inside the fire truck! On Halloween we took him to another festival held at Mims. His favorite game was "the fish pond". A few days before Halloween Wyatt and KayAnna both got a surprise from Aunt Kay-Kay in the mail. KayAnna got a pink ballerina leotard and Wyatt got a pumpkin flashlight!

1 month old
It's so hard to believe but our little KayAnna is now 1 month old. Big brother Wyatt has really gotten attached to his little sister. He loves kissing her and petting her head! At times he gets a little rough but for the most part he is good at being gentle. KayAnna is now 8 lbs, a result of her being a good eater. Breastfeeding is going well, and I couldn't be happier.

First Haircut!
Today was a big milestone for us and Wyatt.....First haircut whooo hoooo!!!!!! I didn't think this day would come when he had enough hair to actually cut!!! We took him to Shepards, one of the last barber shops around. Happy Birthday KayAnna
On September 29, 2013 our Baby girl KayAnna decided to come into this world 5 weeks early! I went into labor the evening of the 28th and she was born on 9/29 at 7:55 am weighing 6lbs measuring 18 in long. Due to some breathing difficulty she was taken to the NICU for evaluation. She ended up staying in the NICU for 9 days. Like her brother she was on the CPAP for just a short period of time (24hrs) She had an IV of D5 to help with her blood sugar issues. She also had a feeding tube for 8 days. Unlike Wyatt, she knew how to suck, swallow, breathe but was not taking in enough milk at each feeding to allow for proper weight gain. Half of her feedings would be fed through the tube until she began drinking the full 50cc. On October 8th we were discharged!!!!!
